I started this project a long time ago as a way to learn sculpting in Zbrush but never finished it. I always loved the concept art by the amazing Eytan Zana https://www.artstation.com/eytan
I wanted to come back to this and make it a full piece and this time use it as a test bed for learning more about substance designer and using substances within UE4 specifically with landscape materials. I created a fair amount of variation by just using attributes I created for my terrain substance. I made 4 textures with the substance that I used with the landscape material.
Large rocks were textured in Substance Painter.
